During the rainy season of October / November 2010, the natural phenomenon of "La Niña" led to flooding in several regions of Colombia, especially in the north of the country. About 2.3 million people were affected by the floods, and many families lost their homes. To lend a helping hand Oiltanking Colombia S.A., Cartagena, donated nearly two tons of food to the Colombian Red Cross, which distributed it to the villagers near the tank terminals. During the Christmas season, employees and their families volunteered in a joint initiative to pack the care packages.
